Arrow Comic-Con Panel: China White Cast!

The cast of Arrow shot its way through Comic-Con today, previewing the upcoming CW drama and offering fans a sneak peek at the season premiere.
As for tidbits revealed by Stephen Amell producer Marc Guggenheim and company:
- Kelly Hu (The Vampire Diaries) will appear on an upcoming episode as the villain China White.
- Yes, Katie Cassidy's Laurel will be donning those black fishnets in the near future, but “not as soon as you want but a lot sooner than you think.”
- Amell was the first person to audition for the role.
- Producers were major fans of Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen on Smallville, but they just had a different vision in mind for this series.“It’s part of the nature of vigilante. You want to do a dark story. You want to have a dark hero,” said Guggenheim. “You want to be able to explore those things and I don’t think with the tone that was established on Smallville we would have been able to go as dark as we went.”
Arrow premieres on October 10.
