Cult does not premiere until midseason on The CW. That's the bad news.
But I've seen the pilot and it's an especially intriguing, unusual, suspenseful drama that ought to appeal to fans of Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. That's the very good news.
I had the pleasure of walking the Comic-Con video line with the cast of the upcoming series yesterday morning and I've posted the exclusive TV Fanatic video interviews with Matt Davis, Jessica Lucas, Robert Knepper, Alona Tal and producer Rockne S. O'Bannon below.
Let's start with Davis, who talked Twitter, Knepper and teased a return to Mystic Falls:
Lucas then gushed over her co-star and have us an overview of her Cult character:
From there, Knepper attempted to prove that he actually is NOT the scariest actor on the planet, while also praising Davis and talking about the challenge of playing two roles:
Tal takes on the same challenge on Cult and discussed it here, along with her stint on Supernatural:
Finally, the man behind all the characters, O'Bannon, explains the conception of the series and why he cast the stars featured above:
