HBO has thrown its viewers a curveball: Eastbound & Down is coming back for a fourth season after all.
Despite a third season finale that saw Kenny Powers fake his own death after being called up to the Majors, commiting to be a family man in North Carolina with April and his won, the network announced yesterday that Danny McBride will be cursing his way through a new eight-episode season that will likely air in early 2013.
Based on numbers alone, the renewal shouldn't come as a surprise, as the Eastbound & Down Season 3 finale drew 1.6 million viewers. Relive the best from this series in our Eastbound & Down quotes section.
HBO has announced renewals yesterday for True Blood and The Newsroom.
