Golden Brooks Cast on Hart of Dixie As...
Golden Brooks has landed a key role on Hart of Dixie Season 2.
The former Girlfriends actress will appear on multiple episodes of The CW drama as Ruby Jeffries, a former Bluebell resident who returns home and quickly befriends Rachel Bilson's Zoe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the casting news, the character is a "successful woman with acerbic wit" who has unresolved issues with many former friends and town citizens. Foremost among them?
Mayor Lavon Hayes. Ruby was his high school sweetheart.
Hart of Dixie returns with new episodes on October 2.
