whateva - I agree and I felt like it was like he was playing himself in the last episode of Lost too... question is if he can play anything else, I don't know. Anyway... Jensen is no.1.

Okay despite my critic on Ian, if he did more variety in roles and really stops what imo is just playing himself (cause let's face it Damon and Ian are more alike than anyone else on the show and I think the writers really just Damon be like Ian, Ian evens owns the fact that other than the fact he is not a crazy killer, he is just like Damon).

I am also someone who has seen the bulk of Ian work and it more okay than stellar. I personally only think he was great two things and he has been in the business for over ten years now, however there is not much diversity in that resume, and boy there is more crap there than diamonds. If he does do 50 shades that going to be dud too.
Jensen however has consistent good work on resume while his soap opera days were used a joke fodder for the Supernatural episode, his character is still very popular and missed on the soap, and he been off that show for like 13 years now.

I just have to add, can we stop all the warring!! I like both guys and both shows, I voted Jensen because for me there's no contest but I do still like Ian. You know they do actually get on and may not be so impressed to see fans bashing the one they didn't vote for!? Jensen IS better looking and a way superior actor, but no need to hate on Ian! I've seen Jensen up against far worse people who don't get all this hate!

I choose Jensen! I watched the seven seasons of Supernatural only for a month - when I saw Jensen (not only that he is good looking, actually brilliant looking, but he has amazing acting skills...) I became a huge fan! He deserves to win so so much! But don't get me wrong - I like Ian too, I'm a fan of The vampire diaries, but Jensen Ackles is one of the best actors I have ever seen and I think he is way better than Ian (I prefer Supernatural too).
To sum up, if perfection exists its name is Jensen Ackles! (following by Ian Somerhalder right after him) ;)

COME ON! Vote for JENSEN! Three reasons why:
1. He's a better and a more talented actor than Ian.
2. He is funnier and more natural to the audience than Ian could ever be.

Oh God, this isn't even an apples to apples comparison.
If this is a popularity contest, then okay, I understand the origins of these contestants.
But if this is actually about who the better actor is, why would anyone even put Ian NEAR Jensen?
There is no comparison. Jensen is the definition of an actor. Maybe Ian will show the world something amazing when he's had a few more roles; as of now he's nothing special at all. But Jensen is already there. He already owns this.
It's not even a question.

I love Ian as a person, I love TVD as well but IMO ... no comparison. Jensen is by far, a better actor and he's multitalented as well. And that's not to say the same about Ian, he does wonderful things as well but my vote goes to Jensen. :)

Sinceramente , mi sono sforzata di notare cosa secondo voi potesse far elogiare più il tizio che ha avuto l'onore di avere la foto vicina a quella di ian ma niente ,l'unica spiegazione possibile è che ha un sacco di parenti sparsi per tutto il mondo.
