Grey's Anatomy Set Photo: Back in Seattle ...
A new photo from the Grey's Anatomy set in Los Angeles shows cast members Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh filming a scene for the upcoming season ... clearly far away from the forest.
Looks like they make it back alive. When Grey's Anatomy Season 9 begins September 27, we will pick up well after the surgeons were (apparently) rescued following the horrific crash.
The following week, we'll revisit some of what happened in the more immediate aftermath. The possibilities are endless, though a previous set photo of Eric Dane strongly implied that Mark is in bad shape.
The Season 9 premiere will be titled "Going Going Gone." What's your interpretation of the season premiere title, and of the teases, spoilers and hints we've seen regarding the show's return so far?

It looks like they're saying goodbye but also arguing. I've seen other stills of this scene and Cristina looks frustrated and Meredith is gesturing in one of them.

Speaking of new series regulars, since they let Kim Raver (Dr.Altman) go I hope they hire Leith M. Burke (Dr. McQueen) as the new head of cardio.
He is a character who was a fellow surgeon to Altman in season 7, and since there are new characters coming it would be fun to have a familiar face as the new cardio attending.

I think Meredith is gonna stay in Seatlle so Derek could recover, Cristina is gonna stay for Owen's sake.
I also think Alex and Avery are going to the second hospital.

Love the red car, which seems to belong to Cris. But it does look like a farewell scene, Cris will be 'going, going, gone' for a while at least.
Love Mer's outfit.
MerCris seem to have recovered from the plane crash. It would give too much away to have shown Der or Callie's injuries

Part II ...
Zola & Cristina to be her person. But as Cristina came to realize, when married, husbands & wives are each other's person. I find it so interesting how Cristina has been the deficient one in matters of the heart all this time but came to realize things much more quickly than Meredith.

I would be very surprised to see Meredith trying to convince Cristina to stay because of Owen. On the one hand, when did Meredith really like him? After he choked Cristina while he had severe PTSD, when he was in the triangle between Cristina & Teddy & after he accidentally divulged to Meredith that he had cheated, she certainly had no use for him. Up until now, Meredith put up with Owen because of her love for her best friend & her best friend's love for Owen. On the flip side, people can & do change & it is possible that after the plane crash Meredith has come to realize that Owen deeply loves Cristina & that he really isn't a bad guy. Meredith, of all people, knows that people can do terrible things (didn't she & Derek cheat on Addison?) I would think she wouldn't point any fingers. I'm looking for a more mature Meredith when it comes to Owen. I think she dislikes him because he takes Cristina away from Meredith. Meredith wants it all - Derek, Zol

My favotit Grey's anatomy season so far is the third season. The way the show has progressed has really become boring and they focus just on the same dilemmas the whole time especially Christina's baby problems. I wouldn't mind if they let Owen, Callie and Arizona go to, because we have followed them for so long and it is repeating. I would really like it if Shonda dug into jacksons, alexs and the chiefs life more.
