I'm really bummed about Jerry's death, I knew it was a done deal when the killer twisted the knife during the stabbing. I hope the writers don't have Tracy completely out of it and depressed the entire next season. She one of the most intelligent characters on that show and contributes a great deal to the content. I'm too wondering if Noam Jenkins (Jerry)left to star in another series. I have seen him on another show but, just can't remember. I thought it was also anti-climatic that Andy woke up to the ringing of her cell phone vs Sam finding her. I wonder if Luke is staying for good now. I also wonder if Sam is going to kick Andy to the curb first for fear of her returning to Luke.

Great review of a very sad episode. It was nice to see Luke back, but I will definitely miss Jerry. He definitely added a lot to the show and he and Traci made a great couple. However, when he walked into the house without backup, I knew he would die (it was really hard to watch that scene), but the cellphone part was brilliant. Andy was so stubborn about the bartender, that I knew she would end up being wrong. I'm not surprised that there will be tension because of this.
I don't know why Jerry's character was killed off, but I'm hoping it's because the actor is moving onto a bigger role somewhere else.

I knew something terrible was going to happened in the episode but I didn't expect Jerry to be killed. In the last couple of episodes he has become my favorite character. I really liked his presence on screen. He will be missed. But at least he died a hero.
I also think there will be lots of guilt from other characters: Traci for not being with Jerry, if they both went into the house he may be alive.
Noelle for telling Traci not to call Frank if she did he would have been there not Traci.
I hope this changes Gail that she becomes a nicer person and that she feels a bit of remorse for losing his life to save hers!
Next week it looks like Sam's anger, sadness and grief will be taken out on Andy. I do not want them to break up but I guess Tasssie Cameron wants them to be apart for awhile. Sam will realize at some point he was wrong but I bet Andy will be with someone else and so they Sam and Andy romance will play out over the course of the Rookie Blue seasons.
It is too early to see Traci with someone else but I can actually see her with Chris.
Now Luke will be staying as Jerry is gone.
The moment with Sam and Jerry when he told him about the cell phone broke my heart!
I love this show!
I am still emotional from last night!
I was not expecting Jerry to die and for me if it was between him and Gail, sorry but I would have been okay if she died.
I liked Jerry from the start, yes he may have been a little hard on Traci lately but I was always rooting for them and was so sure they would get married. I also liked his bromance with Sam. That being said, as soon as Jerry gave Sam the watch and said it was bad luck to give a watch as a gift. I knew something bad would happen but in all honesty I was not expecting Jerry to die. However he was a detective to the end, he knew that if he got the cell in the guys pocket then Gail would be saved. However I feel that if Jerry just stayed laying on the floor he would still be alive.
Amazing review - this was such a heartbreaking episode.
Can't wait to see the questions and responses to the round table~

Great review of the most heart-breaking episode of Rookie Blue!
I'm going to miss Detective Barber with all his quips and remarks and detective skills, but glad he went out a hero ultimately saving Gail's life. And as ye taketh one life away, another comes into the world.
I was disappointed with us not seeing Sam finding Andy, and actually have been feeling like we're missing out on stuff and Sam and Andy are acting more like good friends who work together than anything else.
Sad episode, but you know it's a great show when viewers are passionate about what happens with all of the characters.

What a great episode! I am so sad that Jerry has been written out of the show. I love Jerry and Tracy together. I am going to miss them and Jerry. I took this hard last night as well because i have become so invested in all these characters. The acting by Enuka Okuma when she found out that Jerry was dead was brillant. I also agree that i wanted Sam to find andy on the floor. Although he was concerned when he found out i expected more from him. I am also wondering why Nick did not answer Gails calls? Its odd. I thought the whole death with Jerry and the baby being born was beautiful thus the circle of life. Next week also looks heartbreaking. PLEASE rookie blue us fans have been through enough. Dont break up Sam and andy!

Even though this is a series on television and not real life I took the death of Jerry really hard. What hurt even more is when he was so heroic to give one last good fight to ensure that his death was not in vein to make sure the Gail was found ALIVE. The look on Nashs's face when she found out was heart broken I had to look away. Why did this have to happen like? Couldn't he have just got shot in the arm and do rehabilitation?!! I am so sadden by these latest events on Rookie Blue, I was not even able to properly sleep last night... I no I may sound crazy but the thing is like some of you I have been watching Rookie Blue from the time it began, (not that its been out that long) I feel a sort of connection which each character in some way shape or form. I just hope that Nash honors Jerry by staying on the force. Rookie Blue rules!!!
Sam looked so happy when he was pouring that cup of coffee though and also when Andy was being interviewed Sam was rubbing her back, very romantic.
I am definitely going to miss Jerry but it seems right that as one life leaves 15 Division another beautiful one enters! :)

I loved that part where Sam & Oliver cracked that Jerry finally knew how to use his phone (because even when Traci called Jerry, he said he didn't know how to unmute it). It was a genius idea of Jerry's to place his phone on the attacker and save Gail.
So heartbreaking for Traci & Jerry. As cops, they do risk their lives especially when both are on the force. In TOronto, we've lost several officers and to watch the processions and the whole country's police force comes together to honour and celebrate their work & lives.
Jerry saved Gail, lost his life but 15 div family also welcomed Frank & Noelle's daughter into the family. I wonder if they'll be like Bones where Angela & Jack Hodgins integrated Vincent's name into their son's name.
I would have thought Sam would have called Andy after he dropped her off after he headed back to his place to wish her a good night or something. Even after my boyfriend drops me off or vice versa, we call each other after
