Carrie Preston Books Return to The Good Wife
In a word: YES!
CBS sources confirm that Carrie Preston will reprise her hilarious role of Elsbeth Tascioni on multiple episodes of The Good Wife Season 4.
The - how shall we put this? - eccentric attorney has already represented Alicia (against Department of the Treasury) and Will (against bribery charges), though it's unclear what brings her back into the fold this fall. Perhaps the firm's floundering finances?
Preston, also known for her work on True Blood as Arlene, joins a ridiculously impressive cast of Season 4 guest stars. Chief among them: Nathan Lane, Maura Tierney, John Shea, Christina Ricci and Brian Dennehy.
The Good Wife returns with new episodes on September 30.

I also hope for good storylines and I was not so thrilled with all the new faces, but this is a very welcome one for me. I think she is a really great addition to the show!

I really hope Cary gets a strong storyline and we see more of Peter, his campaign and growth as a 'good man'.

Sigh. It looks like my hopes that finally that season we'll do something good with Cary are doomed to be killed again.

Yeah I agree. They are going overboard now. I think just focus on the stories. Tell us about Kalinda already!

I love her. But really, with all those new and returning recurring characters and with all those guest stars I don't see how they'll be able to do something good with all their main characters this year.
