cont. Dan and Jenny convo is a good one too, nowadays you miss that sibblings dynamic. Chuck and Blair convo builts the drama, and later on when Jenny speaks more truth to them is obvious it gets to them. Dan and Jenny saying goodbye later at night is bittersweet. The final Chuck and Blair convo is intense, is tough and more so when is ending. I forgot to talk about the dream, but in fact it wasn't as great as others.

4x7 War at the Roses: this was so much better than the 3 previous ones. The beginning with Colin and Serena flirting with each other was crazy. Seeing Blair preparing her birthday was more endearing because it's a thing from the first 2 seasons.

cont. Juliet and Nate's drama was also kinda subpar, and it didn't contribute to Ben's image later in the season. The best parts were the ones involving Jenny directly or indirectly, like Dan and Chuck convo at the VDW, Jenny and Blair convo later (pretty intense), her phone convo with Chuck later, the Parsons scene, the Dan, Jenny and Blair scene in the street, and the part where she figured what was going. Chuck and Blair confrontation was dramatic, she looked great, he not so much, and the whole revenge thing on his part was mean at this point, but Jenny's smackdown of both of them was good in the sense it put them on their places, even though you is obvious later it wasn't easy for Jenny to have to go through that in public. Dan and Jenny convo is a good one too, nowadays you miss that sibblings dynamic. Chuck and Blair convo builts the drama, and later on when Jenny speaks more truth to them is obvious it gets to them. cont. (and also kinda a sad moment to see them like this). Juliet having her phone convo with Ben and later sleeping with Nate was also kinda omminous in a way because you could tell they would be problems after that.

4x6 Easy J: this one was slightly better than the previous one. Seeing Jenny wasn't bad as it would have been expected after her last appearance. Dan and Eric's attentions towards her were sorta endearing. Serena and Colin drama through the episode were sorta over the top, they both were kinda ridiculous, and Lily disapproval seemed to have encouraged Serena rather to disuade her. The Chuck and Serena convo outside the Columbia auditorion was kinda amusing as their convos tend to be, but his convo with Blair later was more tense.

    Every Dan and Blair scene.

cont. The first encounter between CB was a great one, he looked great, even thinner, and she looked pretty in that outfit. Colin first appearance too, although you were able to get why Serena was annoyed by the cab thing. Juliet scheming was a little more convoluted than in previous episodes but it worked, and Vanessa really didn't knew how to play her cards. The second CB encounter was memorable. Blair getting a date for the professor wasn't so interesting, but the minion that betrayed B was a twist though. The party at Hamilton House had high and lows. The scheming from Juliet remain convoluted and it was sad to see how V got burned at the end. S trying to deal with her professors was unconfortable. The CB parts were the best there, with Chuck ruining Blair's plans and using the scarves as his signature, their subsecuent dialogue which was witty and fluid, the professors reaction to their argument and later on their final convo which was pretty omminous from his part (and als

cont. cont. Chuck figuring out the truth trough his convo with Lily was dramatic and his plea to Eva was just hearthbreaking. Nate and Juliet at the end was a scene that kept the intrigue about her storyline. SB convo with Blair sorta admiting she did wrong was a good scene between them although it makes you wonder about Blair's fickleness. The CB scene was also heartbreaking, sad and a tough one to watch, and the final SB scene was more hearthbreak and drama.

4x5 Goodbye, Columbia: Slightly better than 4x4 but not as better as the other 3. It switched gears in regards to 4x4, with the whole STD rummor. Seeing DN hang out was nice, although like some say why D was still ok with visiting the Empire? (I guess that stopp mathering a while ago). Blair ruling the Columbia minions was a nice one considering how they behaved towards her in the previous season. Her convo with Serena is witty and funny. Juliet listing the hookups of the show to DN was a great moment. The first enco

cont. The scenes of the rooftop party though, are rather painful. Serena deciding to sorta seduce Dan felt backhanded on her part because she knew Vanessa was still in the scene. Vanessa going to the party through Nate and Juliet is also a move that doesn't make her look good. The Chuck and Blair scenes in particular are awful, he's still acting weird and she's acting rather crazy and is obviously doing all this out of jeaulosy that tries to cover desperately wanting to believe Eva is evil. Eva keeps behaving exccesively sugary and the fact she doesn't suspect anything makes everything worst. Blair fooling Chuck's valet just makes you feel sad for the guy. Vanessa confronting Dan is as uncomfortable as it could get. The NS scene is nice but S realizing D saw them is also uncomfortable as well as their convo later. Juliet speaking with Nate felt more endearing but it's all framed in her deviousness. Blair tricking Chuck was awful. Chuck figuring out the truth trough his convo

cont. Blair going to the penthouse was an awkward scene specially because how Chuck behaved when she arrived (where did that come from) and later how Blair behaved through all, and even Eva and her weird way to help Chuck's valet (wouldn't have been better if she had told Chuck from the beginning?). The scene of Eva with Blair later at least helped explain how she saved Chuck, and at the same time the DS interaction further proved something was still brewing between them. When Blair later arrives her home and speaks to them it was a funny scene, too bad all her interactions with Dan are sorta tainted now. Nate freaking out about Juliet was sorta entertaining, and provided another CN scene. Dan accidentally telling Nate about Eva was probably the most funny scene in the episode, but later on Nate telling Chuck was a sad one and Chuck going to talk to Eva about it was a tense moment.

4x4 Touch of Eva: this one wasn't as good as the previous ones. The beginning is more or less ok, but it's sad to see Blair watching what was going on with Chuck and Eva through GG. Serena trying to get Blair out of that is a good moment between them. The Chuck and Nate scene with Juliet and Eva is sorta ok although seeing those girls there and later on when they lunch together is crazy because you know sooner or later she will be out of the picture. Dan reaching to Serena to talk about Milo did seem to prove that there was still something there between them.

  10. pty

cont. endearing too. The Chuck and Blair convo was a great scene and Blair looked gorgeous, too bad the Eva storyline needed to continue (it must be admitted it would have been odd if it had ended there, TV stories don't work like that). Georgina returning and her scene with Dan started funny and then turn really dramatic, and it was also dramatic the moment V showed up and D told her what happened. The final SB scene with the roommate thing was a great moment for them, quite memorable. Juliet still scheeming at the end only added to the mistery of her storyline, so at least it kept viewers interest.

  11. pty

cont. Vanessa offering to live with him to take care of Milo would have been too if it wasn't for the feeling she was also doing this to lock down Dan. The Fashion Night Out part was interesting, specially the SB part, it was fluid and ended up with a nice twist, not only because they fooled everybody but also because Lily helped them. The Chuck and Eva part however was kinda painful to watch because of the way Eric and Rufus behaved (a public event like that kinda not the right place for that confrontation) but at least it lead to another Chuck and Lily scene and in turn to a moment between Chuck and Eva when he was forced to tell her the truth, which it was something that should be done (just wished she would have been honest too at that moment), plus he looked great in that moment. Nate confronting Serena was also something that needed to happen, N taking Juliet's side wasn't the best but he had good reasons to be angry at S, and it needs to be admitted his moment with Juliet was

4x3 The undergraduates: this was a good episode, not as much as the previous one but still good. The beginning wasn't so bad despite having to endure Eva. Serena and Blair on campus was interesting. Juliet's presence at Hamilton House was surprising and it was more surprising to learn how powerful she was there. Seeing Penelope again was a bonus. GG omnipotence was a bit over the top though, and it still hasn't been properly explained, also GG mentioning Eva and Chuck's arrival to town felt mean. Chuck and Lily convo was a good scene. Dan searching for Georgina and later when Rufus reveals him the results of the paternity test was good too, but later the whole thing of Rufus and Eric talking about Chuck and Jenny was kinda crazy, specially considering Rufus himself mentions J wasn't blaming Chuck. The SB interactions about the Juliet and Hamilton House issue are good scenes. Dan deciding he couldn't give Milo fof adoption was endearing from his part. Vanessa offering to live

Blair with the Oscar De La Renta dress, one of her best looks ever, and all her scenes the minute she appears with the dress are superb, specially the one at Harry Winston and of course the train station scene, where CB have one of their best scenes ever. It was incredibly well shot and I don't think the dialogue was bad like some have said. The next day, her scene with Louis is another sweet moment that now feels like a slap in the face of fans, but her look was amazing. Serena going back home was a bittersweet moment for her, but you kinda can't blame the boys for that one because she could have decided earlier. Chuck meeting Eva in the street was probably one of the few scenes between them that I found bearable.

  14. pty

cont. when he shows her the money and later S shows up (he looked great in that one too). Blair and Louis first scene was uneventful, but looking back it makes you wonder why they ever thought they would work, she was pretending to be something she wasn't. Meanwhile, Dan searching for Georgina was much entertaining then their interactions in 4x1, and also the part where he cuts Serena on the phone. V showing up wasn't so amusing though, the whole DS thing was pretty much full of tension. Nate with Juliet at the beginning was a great scene, later on she accompaning him at the loft was unrealistic but at least her manipulations kept the story going. DN convo in the loft was a great bromance moment. Back in Paris, the Chuck and Serena convo was one of the best between them, and later SB convo was good.

cont. though after he wakes up it's certainly shocking seeing him with those clothes.

4x2 Double Indemnity: this was certainly better than the previous one and maybe one of the best of the season. Another initial convo between the girls, and dramatic when Lily calls Serena. Serena's look was awful but it was amusing seeing her playing detective like some reviewers pointed out. When she went to identify the body was dramatic and later we switch to Chuck's storyline. Chuck loooked so delicious in his first scenes when he woke up and later when he went to work, too bad they were with Eva and not Blair. The moment Chuck and Blair see each other was perfect, they both put their weights acting wise with their facial expressions. The scene between SB at the Waldorfs was superb, among other things because of the dialogue. Chuck meeting Eva after work and suggesting leaving town was a little fast in changing gears but it was a good scene, as well as the scene when he shows her the mon

I will try to be brief this time:

4x1 Belles du Jour: it was an ok episode. Paris as stage was beautiful, and the first scenes when we see the girls are of the better ones in this episode, as well as their first conversations in the cafe and then at the Waldorf's. Nate meeting Juliet was a well shot scene, Katie Cassidy certainly was one of the reasons why the first part of this season was better than the second one. The Dan and Georgina parts weren't that interesting except for the awesome part where Georgina revealed Rufus and Lily about Milo (it was one of her most direct interactions with Nate, when ironically in the books he was the first to met her). Blair meeting Louis was a sweet scene, but it has lost spark after the season 5 disaster. The dinner was only an ok moment, but the SB conversation later was very heartfelt. The final part when we see what Chuck is being up to was what was expected but I have to say it could have been filmed better, though after he wakes up

I loved most Juliet and "ivy dickens" scenes, and how she turned out to just be impersonating her, now her stay is over run though

Season 4 sucked but season 5 was horrible and disgusting.I lost interested in this show in the middle of season 4; when blair told chuck she wanted to be a powerful woman which she will never be by the way.I was tired waiting for chuck and blair to get back together, the writers just invented lame excuses. Then i heard about dan and blair and i was definitely done with the show until the end of season 5.There was no way in hell, i would watch this pathetic excuse for a couple happen. They are so disgusting, dair is an abomination.

JULIET! definitely my favourite part of the season! katie cassidy is awesome and i think she is the reason that this season was at least decent

I agree with those who said that season 4 is better than season 3, but nothing can compare to a brilliant season 1 and 2! For me, the continued decline in season 4 that began with season 3 and that continued with the disaster in season 5! I agree with everyone who said that the scene between Chuck and Blair are one of the best in season 4. To me, the most beautiful scene between Chuck and Blair at the train station in Paris, sex scene on the piano and the funniest scene the Chuck in quilt in the bed of Blair and Serena enters and sits on the bed talking to Blair! But as we all know that I am a fan of Serena and Dan, for me, the best scenes in season 4 are ones that show the incredible love between Serena and Dan! Showing how deep and strong love between Serena and Dan, and how different of that was what has Serena and Nate (friendship), or Serena and Ben, or Dan and Blair!

I can say that the first half of the season was good, it was when Dair started that the show went horrible again.

    I liked

    - The scenes in Paris!
    - Fashion Night Out episode
    - Serena's storyline about the teacher
    - Damien!

Thats all, the rest was terrible. Oh wait no, the part where the prince came back for Blair and they started going out, loved that. Louis was good back then, they screwed him in s5 tho.

season 4 omg the piaon scence so hot and i think one of the funniest moments of the season was when chuck was under the blanket and serena just came right in sat down and started talking

chuck is my favorite chacater on the show so even at the end of the season when he did the episode with blair that he got agressive you still want them to be together he has so much love for her and i just think whenever they do a scene together its great the 2 of them i think have the most range out of everyone else on the show when blair crys it feels so real

  23. Jordan

most heartbreaking moment was when chuck said goodbye to blair in the finale. still makes me cry

  24. S

Really, after season 5 with its full-on Dan/Blair FAIL--any season of Gossip Girl looks great.
