I had mixed feelings about the first show of the new season, but as usual, the wonderful actors and actresses on the show made it all worthwhile in the end. Though I am not a huge Ray Romano fan, I have to say that he seems to be a fun addition to the show, though I really hope he doesn't come between Sarah and Mark, whom I adore. Since I find Haddie kind of annoying, I am glad she's going away. But I wish they'd find somewhere to send her brother Max, as he's still a complete jerk and I found his rude behavior toward his new cousin unacceptable and just plain mean. I found myself hoping that Victor actually killed his stupid lizard, and he deserves to have his things stolen if he's going to be a bully to someone who is in dire need of inclusiveness. And I was appalled that Julia has not set any ground rules or guidelines for her son yet, and just lets him do whatever he wants, which is ridiculous. I hope Amber finds a steady boyfriend soon, as she's a favorite character of mine.

Everybody Loves Raymond...er Ray Romano! Loved his characters comment to Sarah regarding Mark, " Is he from Make-A-Wish Foundation "? (not an accurate quote but it was spot on!!! Can't wait until the next weeks stories.

Loved last night's show. Glad to see Ray Romano. I recognized Paul McDonald from the Idol show. I wish Amber had more restraint with whom she has sex. I loved it when Haddie got out of line at airport and gave her parents another hug. Was crying moment for me. The adoption story was touching. I think this show really shows the human side of families and how everything isn't perfect. There are other dysfunctional families besides our own. Yay! Maybe we're all "normal" after all!

I loved this episode (although I was guilty of multi-taking and will go back a rewatch it). And I could NOT be happier with Ray Romano joining the cast. He's marvelous (as he was in Men of a Certain Age) and will most certainly add to the excellence of this ensemble. Sometimes, though, it seems that there are TOO many irons in the story fire but at least the writers are keeping their integrity. I think an interesting story line will developed between Max and Hank, and Max needs that.

Sorry, I didn't like last nights episode. It was just ok. Things that bothered me, Sarah's NOT old so please don't misunderstand me. However, she is to old to be running around like she did last night when she was getting the camera equipment. It was just embarrassing to watch it. As for Ray's character, umm, boring. If this is how the season began, umm, here's hoping it picks up.

Come on abc! If last nights episode is an indication of things to come, we want more than 15 episodes and many many more seasons of parenthood! The whole point of this show is to show it like parenthood really is. There are a lot of parents like Julia, smart career people who really don't have a clue when it comes to their kids. The adoption story is so true to life, and like real life, they will figure it out and learn to love their new son! It takes years for an older child to bond with new parents! The off to Uni story was spot on & wonderful! The religion issue, not so exciting but still very real and true to life! And finally, my favourite parent ... Sarah ... I agree Jason Ritter is cute, but come on, if she can't reconcile with her ex (my preference!), I think Ray Romano is much more her style! Looking forward!

They only thing is can't Amber ever just have one guy that sticks around longer then a week? I found Haddie very annyoing in this episode but it was sweet when she went back and hunged her mom and Dad. I love Sara and Mark and already don't like Hank for coming between them.
