Titanic, days before the iceberg, different stories going on, the viewers know the boat will hit the iceberg, but maybe the reason it hits is because of something haunted....

I think Season 3 could possibly get away with taking place in an entire town - not just one building. The town could be a place like Salem with a history of witches. I think another good option would be a chilly boarding school, a brother and sister with a dark history could transfer there, only to realize the culture of the rich, elite, old fashioned society of the school holds more secrets than they do. The haunted school is full of corruption, cover ups, and horror.

One of the scariest shows I ever saw was a television movie (I think) set on a ship at sea, lost, crewless, with monsters on board, in a storm. People kept getting killed. And just when they thought they had reached safe harbor, they were proven wrong. There are some powerfully large lakes in this country, with extremely bad weather, and weird happenings. Remember the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald? Besides, water and drowning and no lifeboats, and no escape can be terrifying, even without monsters! Then there are the Alaskan cruise ships, and the Caribbean ones, which seem to have a disaster a year lately. In American waters, that would still fit.

I think season 3 should take place in the olden days with magicians like the movie the illusionist or the prestige that would be awesome and the lead character could be the magician that could have so many twist and the setting for it would be creepy.

On a HAUNTED CRUISE SHIP in the 1920's travelling from Europe to America (or vice versa).
That way they are trapped with whatever is on the boat and unable to be rescued!

Season 3 should take place somewhere back East, like Salem, Massachusetts in an old, turn of the century Gothic-revival Theater or Church! I think that would be most excellent! :)

Season 3 should take place in an orphanage run by the sisterhood of the southern cross established during the antebellum period. The orphanage was built over a network of creepy catacombs with many secret doors hidden throughout the gothiclike building allowing for secret rituals being held behind its doors. The rituals are held to root out a very special child the sisterhood has been awaiting since the opening of the orphanage.
