Judith Light is moving to Dallas.

The veteran actress (Law & Order: SVU, Ugly Betty, The Exes) will recur on Season 2 of the TNT hit, TV Line confirms, coming on board in a role described as an "authoritative" woman who will do anything for the people she loves.

This simply has to be a reference to the mother of Brenda Strong’s Ann Ewing, doesn't it?

Dallas Season 2 gets underway on January 28, with Emma Bell joining the cast as a series regular and expected to portray Ann's daughter.
