Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel Confirmed for Boy Meets World Spinoff

It's official and officially exciting: Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel are on board for the much-anticipated Boy Meets World spinoff.

As previously announced, the Disney Channel series will be titled Girl Meets World and will focus on Cory and Topanga's teenage daughter, Riley. The story will be told from her point of view, with her father serving as the school's history teacher.

TV Line has confirmed the casting of Cory and Topanga, with long-time fans of the original series anxiously awaiting word on whether Shawn and/or Mr. Feeny will also play roles on the sequel.

No date has been announced for the pilot yet and casting is just underway, but Boy Meets World creator and executive producer Michael Jacobs will be in charge.
