CBS Orders 13 Episodes of Stephen King's Under the Dome
CBS has placed a 13-episode order for Under the Dome, a drama based on the Stephen King best-seller by the same name that will air next summer on television's most-watched network.
It will be produced by King and Steven Spielberg.
Under the Dome focuses on a small New England town that is suddenly becomes sealed off from the rest of the world by via a giant dome. Its citizens are then forced to deal with post-apocalyptic conditions, all while trying to figure out what the heck is going on and when their lives will return to normal.
Deadline first broke this interesting bit of TV news.
