Smash Season 2 Trailer: New Faces, New Chances
Following performances last night by The Voice Top 10, NBC treated fans to a special, extended look at what's to come on Smash Season 2.
Among the changes in store for fans?
- Julia has suffered some kind of breakdown.
- Eileen is in major legal trouble.
- Jennifer Hudson, as two-time Tony winner Veronica Moore, is mentoring Karen.
- Sean Hayes is around.
- Ellis is not.
Celebrate the latter fact above all else and prepare for Smash Season 2 to premiere on February 5 via the following four-minute trailer:

But pls Karen is already sleeping with another guy after the Dev incident. Talk about rebound. Don´t like the new bf BTW.
Still hope Karen and Derek will eventually get together. Those two sizzle in scenes together and I am really liking how their story is evolving. Crossing fingers!

I agree, too many new faces! I want more karen, derek and ivy. They are the reason I watch the show. Hope season 2 is as good as season 1 if not better!

A bit too much Jennifer Hudson if you ask me!! I love the girl but love the season 1 characters much more! Too many new faces....I fear that this will be Smash's last season.
