Well last summer Sutter tweeted that 3 PH would be gone by the end of Season 5 and so far only Opie has gone..do not think he counted the Nomads in that count. However the thing is this is a story in the end about Jax and his journey and everyone else is really just supporting cast in a manner of speaking. It really has nothing to do with the others except how they play into it. I am curious about Tig as he in a way is the reason this all went South to begin with.....well and Clay when they decided to take out Opie eons ago and got Donna instead until they worked up to that CF with Pope's daughter. Pope is the one that has my curiosity grabbed as will he be taken out be someone also and if so by whom. I am not sure that Clay gets away yet it is very hard to imagine a season 6 without RP.........
Wendy I could care less about she should have been smarter but she chose to play right into what happened/I realize how cold that sounds but she played right into Tara's hands by doing what

Clay is totally the show. You kill Clay and you kill the show. If Clay is gone, what does Jax do, play with the kids in the park. Clay brings the suspense and danger to the show. Clay needs to go to Ireland and then come back stronger with his own club as rivals. At some point I'm sure Clay will be killed but when that happens the show will lose a great character and a great actor, probably the best.

While Jax is moving toward the dark side, I can't help but continue to love his character. I don't see him remotely becoming like Clay who is just an amoral character. Jax is a complicated man with many issues who is trying in the only way he knows how to make things right for the people he loves. I will be surprised if he actually hands Tig over to Pope, but he is having a hard time overcoming the fact that, save for Tig's reckless actions, Opie would still be alive. While I don't agree with what he did to Wendy, he is desperately trying to protect his family, and made a bad decision to accomplish that goal. Given his background, and the atmosphere he grew up in, his reaction to adverse situations would realistically be quite in character.

I hope that Karma comes & bites Jax & Tara on their collective behinds. Tara has lost her class & become just another biker skank, but all the same, I hope she realises that if Jax could give-make that FORCE-hard drugs on Wendy in order to forward his own agenda, then he's fully capable of doing that or worse to HER if she gets in his way. And the thought of this punk, white tennis shoe wearing poser sacrificing Tig-unthinkable! Gemma & Nero need to ride off into the sunset in his lowrider & never look back. All the characters except a very few have become hateful backstabbers-oh well, typical bikers.....
It also needs to be said that FX and SOA are screwing fans with extra commercials and ending the shows early.

I think Tig will live. I think Jax will turn on Pope. Just something with the talk he had to popes right hand man. I think Gemma will not go to Ireland, and Clay will kill Nero so he and Gemma don't get closer.
Remember the carefully crafted well thought final to season 3?
Well, this isn't going to be that...this is a mess.
I misread the title "Darthy". I thought Clay was going to pull the "Jax, I am your father. Search your feelings", garbage.
Instead it was more of Jax following the path of the dark side. That needle in Wendy's arm is one of the most awful things ever done on TV. (And have we come full circle from the Jax that beat the drug dealer to protect Wendy..)
I'm not sure how any of this is going to pan out, but I'd bet none of it will be satisfying. Jax CANNOT hand over Tig. Clay CANNOT escape to Ireland (PLEASE NO MORE IRELAND, I may be the only fan that enjoyed Ireland the first time, BUT NO MORE!)... And of course we all know some out of left field twist is coming...
I still have not forgiven Sutter for the end of season 4 (GOD AWFUL) and it looks like more is more of the same is coming. Sutter could have created a very good show about an MC living off the grid...i

It really felt like nothing happened. Why have an extra half hour when it's mostly forgettable. The last scenes were okay along with Nero, and Pope. The stretching of both story and characters, only leads to okay TV.

I totally agree with what Jax did to Wendy, she threatened him after being saved by him. As well throughout them bringing her back it has been nothing but threats from her, and working the angles with Gemma. I think Clays death should come by the hands of Nero, he needs to fight for Gemma and Clay is his biggest opponent.

This season sucks balls. The only redeeming feature is Nero. The death of Opie was a major mistake and the survival of Clay is unconvincing. Heck, who didn't guess he was behind the home invasions from the get-go? We all did so why didn't Jax? Ughh, barely watching tbh but still clinging by my fingertips.

Darthy by far has been one of the most intense episodes of the season. Clay needs to die and soon, not only because all the damage he has done but he is dangerous. At the end of season 4, he was lying on his death bed, stripped of his President patch, then by season 5 he came full swing and did some more damage. If he survives season 5 he is going to be deadly by season 6.

I agree with @swingjay - that was totally ridiculous. I felt the same way about the scene last week with Jax being 'snatched' by Romeo just as he's on his way to bust Clay, giving Clay the opportunity to hide the documents. It all seems a little too soap opera-esque for Kurt Sutter.
And I don't understand why Gemma is still fawning over Clay. He confessed to everything, so she she's off the hook. I figured she'd be out the door immediately. That final scene with Jax and Wendy was the first time I have not liked Jax. That was brutal. Wendy didn't ask to be in that situation and she's just trying to protect her son also. Jax has definitely crossed to the dark side. Can't wait to see how it all wraps up this season.

1st time I noticed that Robo Cop directed this and so many other episodes. I think Tig will survive. The preview for next week showed him looking at the end of Jax's gun barrel making it look like Tig is done, but the previews on this show rarely give away any real secrets for the next episode. There is only 1 thing that makes me not feel any mercy for Tig and that is the way Tig smiled when he shot Opie's wife like he was enjoying carrying out that order (mistakenly thinking it was Opie he was shooting).

Well I loved the 1st 4 seasons of Sons of Anarchy, but season 5 sucks point blank, to much going on, the show is to busy and lost alot of substance this year, it seems like sutter rushed writing this season and over looked the details of what makes SOA a very unique show. Anyhow hopefully season 6 is better cause season 5 falls short of.the 1st 4 by alot

Weeeell, that was a little all-over-the-place.
I loved the last scene with Jax and Wendy. I initially thought he was gonna shoot her because of what Tig said to him, and that would've been bad. But loading her with drugs? Genius.
For some reason I can't help but love Clay and Gemma together. I know they *won't* be together but I wish they were. They're my favorite couple, both evil, manipulative, backstabbing bitches and I love them for that. I wish they'd get on that plane together and escape to Belfast. But I guess that's not the plan.
Jax butting heads with Bobby was scary. Up until now Bobby had a good influence on Jax, but after this episode... it's getting seriously scary.
Also, I want a Happy storyline next season. I love that guy.

Jax is nothing like Clay. His "angles" are for all the right reasons. I don't see the character looking for trouble; it's finding him the whole time while he's trying to make a "clean" exit. What a great show!

First off, I am still not enjoying this as much as the first four, but it is entertaining.
I want to see Jax realize what he has become, make everything right and take his family away. Some how I don't think that is going to happen because in this episode I think he crossed that line that he can't get back across again. Putting the needle in Wendy's arm is that point and it should come back to haunt him.
Jimmy Smits is one of my favorite actors so I hope that Nero survives into next season.
The only real way to keep Clay in the series is to send him to Belfast. There is a story there that could be very interesting and it would be fun to revisit the Irish characters. Will Sambel side with Clay or will they be after him like the rest of the Sons?
I am looking forward to what happens next.

I think Jax is strong, mean, and out for revenge. he's great. As for Wendy, I thought Jax should have given her a hot shot long before this. Alas he only gives her enough junk to dispel her story if she chooses to go to the Sheriff, she walks away from Abel and now she wants to be mother of the year. KILL THE JUNKY! I just love Jax, he can do no wrong. As for Clay I think he will go after Nino, Jemma is not going to Ireland and Clay will go wild. I think Nino may kill him. Who knows, I have been wrong all season, my head hurts from thinking.

I agree with Tiffany, Jax is a monster now and frankly I despise him. I think Tara finally realizes that she will never have a beautiful life with Jax and either she will get the chance to go on her own or the clubs business will be the death of her. I'm hoping the ex-Marshall story stretches into next season. I'm really hoping he dishes out his own brand of mayhem on the Sons. I have a feeling Tig will be dead next week or will be on the plane with Clay to Belfast. I was thinking Jax wouldn't give him up to Pope, but this new Jax will sell out Tig real fast.

Sutter always does a excellent job with the last show of the season. Think back to season 3 when Opie whacked Stahl or season two when Abel was kidnapped . Who actually saw those coming ?
I don't know what will become of Tig but I think Bobby is going to tote a ass whipping at the very least .
With Dave Navarro showing up this can't be good for Nero . There is going to be something shocking there.Speaking of shocking who saw Jax coming at Wendy with a needle instead of a Glock ?
I don't know what to expect in the finale but Kurt Sutter hasn't let us down all season. He said in a interview that the season would be a "slow boil"leading up to the finale. He also said we'd see what kind of president Jax would be by seasons end. Well.... It's boiling it's boiling over & Jax has become the one thing he hates.....Clay Morrow .
