GG doesn't have to be a woman, of course. If Kristen Bell is going to be actually shown on the finale, then maybe her character is actually working for another character, who is really the one behind the GG website. It doesn't make sense to introduce a character we've never heard of or seen before and say, 'this is GG!'...

Bart Bass is gossip girl!
thats why there was no gossip girl narrating at the end of the last episode!

There are also Lily and Rufus (maybe they married too, who knows), and Nate and Jenny or Sage or some other girl, and Georgina and Jack (if they where connect before it would be magnificently)! And of course, finally that audiences finds out who is behind this abbreviation - GG, who is invincible, untouchable and always willing to pass on gossip, he or she - Gossip Girl!?

It is very sad now that GG is at the end, it was fun to hang out with her over the past 6 seasons, some were more or less a fun, but all in all it was great! It was always interesting when the season is over, waiting for what will be next, will the characters which we cheer for be more successful than before, now it's all over, no more! I think the audience will ultimately be satisfied, and that some kind of happy ending will be shown, perhaps not as well as we had imagined, but it will definitely end up being a happy ending! Because, although before in the end of each season always remained something not finished, but now it will not be for the simple reason because now is the end and no more! Therefore, we should all expect that characters which we cheer for get a happy ending they deserve, at least two weddings - Serena and Dan and Chuck and Blair - two pairs that are the cornerstones of the series, and from them all started and with them should end! There are also Lily and Rufu

...a diehard Chair fan from 1x07 to about the beginning of season 3. I absolutely loved them and did believe they had insanely hot chemistry, but chemistry does not equate to love. I've grown up and realized how unacceptable it is that he tried to rape Serena and Jenny, that he refused to tell Blair that he loved her for two years, that he traded Blair for his hotel, that he told her he wouldn't stop until she had nothing, that he could ever say that he hated her, etc....I just can't stand couples who bring out the worst in each other. I guess I'm an optimist that way, but Chair will always be what was wrong with Gossip Girl for me. They had potential to grow up, to mature, to earn each other's love, but instead became nothing but whiny, stupid adolescents that cared more about their futures than each other.

For everyone demanding that we Dair fans will just put our feelings for them to bed after tonight's episode is crazy. Shows like Felicity and One Tree Hill have fans pitted against each other long after the final episode. That's life. We won't all agree. But it's ridiculous that you even demand that we give it up. Many of you say that Dair was unrealistic and awkward. That's fine, but that is your opinion, not a fact. To me, Dair was the ONLY realistic couple to every happen on the show. People make assumptions about the other. People can dislike each other initially, but life is about being wrong from time to time. You can change your mind about someone when you get to know them. For me, that is what happened with Dan and Blair. They disliked each other, but then slowly grew to respect the other for their work ethic, and that grew to a reluctant friendship because they had so much in common, and from there grew to a mutual love. It was slow and it was beautiful. Let me be clear, I was

If your going to route the Dair Gospel of Safran the producers recognized the chemistry between Penn and Leighton during the fourth episode of the first season Bad News Blair and around that time he claims Dan attended an award ceremony for an essay Blair wrote was being recognized which her mother did not attend of course this all happened off screen

With at least what, 6 sneek peak and secrets revealed over the last week, we wont have any HUGE surprise, except the identity of GG, which is the only reason why i will watch it tonight. CW needs to stop spoiling their shows like that imo...

Just want to say that I think it's silly and unrealistic to expect fairytale endings or perfect weddings on Gossip Girl. The show is all about chaos, dysfunction, betrayal, manipulation and irony. Every happy event gets sabotaged, every good-hearted character has a deep dark side. That's what makes the show great. And it will surely end in the same chaos and dysfunction. I'd expect nothing less!

Well yes, I'm a (or I used to be) a fan because I think that Dan and Chuck represent both sides of Blair and I believe that a relationship based on friendship and mutual respect better works than a relationship based on passion and destruction (I think Blair and Chuck hurt each other way more than they love each other). So yes, in my opinion the relationship between Dan and Blair was way more realistic.
And FYI, Dan and Blair was originally planned to already happen in season 2.
Dair was great as friends. Once they made them a couple it was just wrong. The only thing that was remotely good with them, was the elevator scene. They didn't have the romantic chemistry. As much as Chair is a flawed couple, the actors just had better on-screen chemistry. Simple as that.

Chair may not be the fairytale ending you would want for your best friend, but it does make the most sense in the context of both the story and characters. At least, they obviously love each other. Blair's not phoning it in like she was with Dan.

We can only hope that its time to move on from the non-sensical Dair and that after tonight people will put it to bed once and for all. They never worked as a couple. They used that storyline at the wrong time and ruined any chance of the couple ever being believable. There was nothing sweet about Blair betraying her best friend or Dan loving the girl who ruined his sisters life. They had no chemistry and were dull to watch. They should have remained friends and only friends as at least their friendship was mildly believable. Chair work because they are the same and they have great chemistry. If you've been watching the show and understand the characters, then you already know why Dair isn't realistic. That journey was writer/producer fan fic at best. Lets hope that we've seen the last of it. Blair was barely recognizable in the last half of season five. Chair may not be the fairytale ending you would want for your best friend, but it does make the most sense in the context of both the

You're insane .... stop cluttering the boards with the nonsense. We don't know what's going on yet, but let's PRAY they do go back to season one couples....the ending should really be for the loyal viewers who stuck with them for 6 years--....sit back and relax a bit, just enjoy it--don't be such a sour puss, you must have WAY too much time on your hands.

@Fan Dair is the true Happy ending! But The writers backed down to the pressure of the fans!
The only thing bugging me is the writers maybe converting Dan into GG! the blast from the past pic(Dan And Chuck in high school time) probably shows us that Chuck did something to Dan what made him GG!
OR maybe the much much better solution is Chuck harassed GG and Dan stepped up! and at this moment GG was created!
