He's already controlled the universe. Now Andy Richter will try to control his daughter on Happy Endings Season 3.

The actor has landed a guest spot on the hilarious ABC comedy, TV Line confirms. He will soon stop by as Penny's father, showing up just as her relationship is growing serious with Nick Zano's Pete.

Richter, who serves as Conan O’Brien’s sidekick on TBS of course, will appear some time this spring and, yes, the relatively small age difference between father and daughter will be addressed.

Megan Mullally, meanwhile, has guest-starred this season on Happy Endings as Penny's (singing) mom.
