Anna Faris to Play "Mom" for Chuck Lorre
Anna Faris is headed for the small screen.
The comedic actress has landed the lead in Chuck Lorre's next project, a sitcom titled Mom that will focus on a just-sober single mother and her attempt to live on the straight and narrow in Napa.
Faris (The Dictator, The House Bunny and the Scary Movie franchise) has been a sought after actress in the television world for some time now. She's married, of course, to Chris Pratt, who cracks viewers up each week on Parks and Recreation.
Lorre, meanwhile, is the creative mind behind Two and a Half Men, The Big Bang Theory and Mike & Molly.
