Collins Pennie to Recur on Revenge As...

Collins Pennie has landed a recurring role on Revenge Season 2.

According to TV Line, the actor (Hawthorne, CSI: Miami) will debut this spring as Eli, the former foster brother of one Emily Thorne. How will he enter the picture? Will he remain an ally of his quasi ex-sibling?

Storyline details are being kept under wraps, but consider Aidan and consider Amanda. Emily typically knows how to keep her past acquaintances on her side.

@Jeremy It's still filler. What's this characters purpose in the Hamptons? What can this character possibly do to be on more than one episode? Even if he would be able to figure out that Emily is really Amanda Clarke...so what! She could red-sharpie him instantaneously!

@liz: The storyline isn't as filler as it initially appears. Amanda is confirmed as the person to die on the boat (check the Daily Mail article, she's the only one not at the funeral). Her foster brother probably shows up to her funeral, thinking the real Amanda Clarke had died (with Emily having flashbacks of her time with him). So it weaves into the plot quite well.

Are we talking Emily Thorne as in the real Emily Thorne or as in actually Amanda Clarke?

@kate, Emily Thorne (the real Amanda Clarke) was in foster care for 8 years after her fathers enprisonment, before she spent 2 years in juvie for burning down the home of foster parents that had abused her. More than likely this guy will be another kid who was in that or another foster home with her. He could be an ally or out for his own vengeance for what she did...who knows. This story-line doesn't hold much interest, seems like filler, but we'll have to wait and see if the writers can make him interesting...

Well, he wouldn't be our Emily's past acquaintance, he would be the real Emily's past acquaintance (Emily and Amanda met it juvie and I didn't get the sense that our Emily left there before her eighteenth birthday). It is hard to say if either of the girls would be able to control him.
