Glee Spoilers: Wedding Bells and Graduation Gowns

at . Comments

A wedding. A new love interest. And another graduation ceremony. It's safe to say the back end of Glee Season 4 will not be without major developments.

So TV Fanatic learned yesterday on the set of this musical comedy, as executive producer Dante Di Loreto led reporters around and revealed a few significant scoops on the way. For example...

Yes, there is a "wedding in the air," Di Loreto confirmed and, yes, it will almost definitely feature Will and Emma. HOWEVER: "There are some things that are going to shock the heck out of you.”

Blaine and Kurt will "suss out" their relationship, Darren Criss said, adding that upcoming episodes will "address [the] uncertainty" that exists between them… while Kurt will be getting close to the head of NYADA's singing group and Blaine gets close - in a NON-romantic way - to somebody we already know.

Brittany and Santana, however, are definitely over. "They won’t get back together," Heather Morris said, encouraging fans to accept that: "They’re best friends, but I think Sam gives her more room to just be herself. That’s a lot of fun. Santana was so serious for her that she really just couldn’t be weird.”

"Romance is going to play a part in [Finn's] future," Di Loreto teased.

As for the possibility of Glee Season 5 moving to New York? Di Loreto acknowledged that The Big Apple would play a role for characters beyond Rachel and Kurt.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if another cast member or a few other cast members" end up in NYC after graduation, "said Di Loreto. “That story has yet to reveal itself, but it seems [like] one of those natural conclusions. They’re all going to different places, just like we all do in high school, and hopefully those are stories that we can blossom.”

Is it awful that I just skip to all the scenes with Rachel and Finn? I just want the original couple to get married so I can stop watching the show! It's not nearly as good as it use to be.

LilAngel, I agree somewhat. NY needs Santana desperately. There needs to be more than the new Sue(bully) Cassie bullying Rachel. Rachel needs more than a teacher to be her angst. She needs a rival of equal talent to make her work for her goals. Kurt needs to expand into his own story, to be something other than Rachel's bestie and roomate. McKinley stories have bombed to me. I wanted a big self discovery for Finn story. As of now, it is a wash. McKnley is unwatchable IMO. Too many characters, too many stories to cover in an episode, too little time per episode to cover these said stories making them brief and incomplete to insufficiency coverage. Some seem boring to what was that? Finn is will 2.0, background to the 2.o new cast and their stories. Not interesting to me at all. Season 4 is a drag to me. NY could be good if given enough focus to it per episode. Right now there are snippets of each story.

I wish they'd just make the New York stuff into a separate, spinoff show. It could potentially appeal to an older audience than the traditional high school Glee. Plus it'd mean full episodes of New York, instead of just a few scenes.

I agree with LilAngel on all accounts.

Just get rid of McKinley, NYC storylines are way much compelling and Rachel is the core of the show

Glee Quotes

[to Finn] You know, I don't really know what's going to happen between us, but I know that you used to be the guy that would make me feel like the most special girl in the whole world, and it doesn't feel that way anymore. Now it just feels sad and confusing. And the worst part is that it doesn't even feel that bad anymore.

I'm engorged with venom, and triumph.
