TV Ratings Report: Deception Drowns

at . Comments

Deception premiered on NBC last night, fooling very few viewers as its ratings tanked in comparison to previous fare in that timeslot and on that network.

Scoring a 2.0 among 18-49-year old adults, the series was down 31% from the fall finale of Revolution and 47% from the Smash Season 1 premiere last February.

Deception (as well as any new show) has a chance to rise. I mean look at Chicago Fire, it's ratings were similar and got a full season pick-up and now it's ratings are higher than before.

Mmm.. that was the finale of The Mob Doctor since it was cancelled by Fox. So sad... it was such a good show !

Also be mindful the pilot is on on-demand for more than a week and I wouldn't be surprise if more folks watch it illegally.

Deception may have been low in viewers, but it won the 10 time-slot with a 2.0 in the demo. I say a good start for now.
