Following the news that it's been picked up for a full season, Castle has announced a big guest-starring role.

Sources confirm to Michael Ausiello that Alyssa Milano will appear in early 2010 as a former love interest of Nathan Fillion’s title character.

On the installment titled “A Rose for Everafter," Castle reconnects with Milano's Kyra on her wedding day. Chemistry still exists between the exes, which Beckett picks up on, creating a little love triangle.

Milano was most recently seen on TV for 10 episodes of My Name Is Earl.

On Monday's new episode of Castle, the show's delightful duo investigates the murder of an Assistant District Attorney.

Also, Alexis confides in Beckett with a secret instead of Castle.

Castle has landed a pair of talented, beautiful guest stars.

On the November 23 episode of the show, Abigail Spencer (most recenetly seen on Mad Men) will play a murder victim’s fiancée.

There's just one problem: Perrey Reeves (Mrs. Ari on Entourage) turns up as the victim’s wife. As you can imagine (and get excited for, fellas), catfighting ensues!

Yes, Beckett? Either there's a dead body or you just wanna hear my sultry voice.

And, with that, Castle and Beckett meet at a crime scene on Monday's episode, "Kill the Messenger."

In the clip below, Beckett tries to act like a cop, but gets shown up, as he proceeds to mock the ease of the upcoming investigation. We have a feeling it won't go as smoothly as he thinks, however.

How come? Perhaps due to the unusual death featured on "Famous Last Words." A rock star doesn't merely turn up dead; she's found in a scene that's eerily reminiscent of her music video.

Great news for Castle fans: ABC has picked up the crime dramedy for a full, 22-episode season.

Anchored by the sarcasm of Nathan Fillion, the second-year series has been holding onto a significant portion of its Dancing with the Stars lead-in.

This brings  the number of shows ABC has green-lighted for a complete season to five.

In addition to Castle, the network has picked up The Middle, FlashForward, Cougar Town, and Modern Family.

During a recent interview with TV Guide, Castle stars Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion were more playful than revealing.

They didn't have a great deal to say about whether or not their characters would eventually lock lips, but the actors did dish on a few series-related topics. Here are a few excerpts:

Katic, on Rick Castle: "There's a wonderful undercurrent that we get to see when he is in scenes with his mother and daughter. I think you see a real heart that beats there, and I think that as episodes continue, people will get to be charmed by that side as well."

Fillion, on Castle's attraction to Beckett: "One of the things that attracts him so much to Beckett is that he can't crack that shell," he says. "He can't get to that spot, so he keeps chasing her. And she's a real authority figure; no one else really has control over Castle the way Beckett does."

Katic, on a potential love triangle with guest star Debi Mazar: "Honey, we never kiss and tell. You'll have to watch and see," she says.

Debi Mazar is a lucky woman.

She starred alongside Adrian Grenier on Entourage; she'll be teamed with Maksim Chmerkovskiy on season nine of Dancing with the Stars; and now she's nabbed a recurring role opposite Nathan Fillion in Castle.

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Mazar will appear on the second season of his ABC series as Paula Haas, Richard Castle's book agent. She'll debut in October by making Castle an intriguing offer.

Accepting this proposal, tough, will a rift in his relationship with Detective Beckett. Interesting...

Castle is coming back for another season.

When we last saw Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion), he had been digging - a tad too deeply - into the life of Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).

Now, in the video below, Katic tells fans about the personal turn her character will take this season, while also previewing what's ahead for her family and her private life.
