Archer: Renewed for Season 5!
Spy shenanigans will continue on FX well into 2014.
The network announced today that Archer has been renewed for a fifth season.
Said Nick Grad, Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Development, FX:
“Archer is one the very best comedy series on television. Adam Reed, Matt Thompson and the incredible cast – H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Jessica Walter, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, George Coe, and Lucky Yates – are comedic geniuses. It is truly rewarding the way in which the audience and fans have embraced their work and that the ratings to continue to grow. The quality of Archer is undeniable.”
In 2013, Archer rates as cable’s number-two series in males 18-34 behind The Walking Dead.
It will air a two-part Season 4 finale on April 4 and April 11 and Season 5 will consist of 13 episodes.
