I admit that it wasn't the best episode of Bunheads, to me the principal issue was Sasha getting an apartment. How the heck did she sign a lease as a minor? And utilities? Did one of her parents cosign? I'm confused on that. But her showing up at Michelle's and her fight with Roman I thought were great.
I don't mind the Boo maturity issue you mentioned (watches her brothers but can't stay over sans parents). A lot of parents do that. I had to watch my younger sib but couldn't be out past curfew (which was sundown except on special occasions) and couldn't be out unchaperoned or at least had to be in public places. The "worldly teens" you mentioned - doesn't every teen show seemingly introduce a character like that at some point? And when do parents ever act like parents on shows like this? Not on TVD or Secret Life or PLL, etc.

I'm confused - where is Sasha getting all this money for the apartment? And how in the world is a 16yr old able to rent an apartment?! Did her parents do it for her? I just don't think a minor would be able to live on her own like that. It seems so ridiculously unreal.
