Rachelle Lefevre Lands Female Lead on Under the Dome

Rachelle Lefevre is headed Under the Dome.

The actress (Twilight, Off the Map, A Gifted Man) will portray Julia on this CBS summer series, an investigative reporter who just moved to Chester Mills and has grown close to Mike Vogel's Army veteran when a mysterious force field engulfs the New England town.

Based on a Stephen King novel, Under the Dome will also feature Dean Norris, Jolene Purdy, Nicholas Strong, Britt Robertson, Alex Kotch and Natalie Martinez. It premieres on June 24.
