Will Arnett to Headline New CBS Sitcom

Poor little Amy officially has no parents.

Following Christina Applegate's departure from Up All Night, Will Arnett has signed on to lead an untitled CBS pilot from Greg Garcia (Raising Hope, My Name Is Earl).

The multi-camera comedy will center on Arnett's Jack, a recent divorcee who is also dealing with parents that aren't exactly celebrating marital bliss these days.

Technically, NBC must cancel Up All Night before Arnett can star on the new sitcom (which also must be ordered to series by CBS)... but the program currently lacks one lead and an executive producer and is trying to transform its into a multi-camera workplace comedy in front of a live studio audience.

It's safe to say Arnett is now the property of CBS.
