Audra McDonald Joins Cast of The Ordained
Audra McDonald has joined the cast of a CBS pilot, coming on board The Ordained as a senior litigator.
The unusual drama centers on the son of a Kennedy-like family who leaves the priesthood in order to become an attorney... and stop an assassination attempt against his political sister.
Jordge Garcia (Lost) will play the law firm's investigator, a role similar to Kalinda on The Good Wife.
Why do we raise that point? Because, as pictured above, McDonald will next be seen on an episode of that CBS hit this month.
