Rebecca De Mornay and Sophia Bush to Star in Hatfields & McCoys

by at . Comments

NBC has expanded its cast of Hatfields & McCoys, a present-day take on the iconic western feud that will be set in Pittsburgh in which the McCoy patriarch died and this famous rivalry is reignited.

Rebecca De Mornay (pictured) will portray the drama's lead, Mayor Mary Hatfield, who runs the city through her connections and machinations.

Nick Westrate will portray her arrogant son, Randall.

Sophia Bush will take on the role of Emma McCoy, the shining star of the Hatfield's arch enemy and and the oldest McCoy sibling. The character will be a doctor.

Last year, the Hatfields & McCoys miniseries on History earned that network record ratings. NBC can only hope this version does the same.
