The Walking Dead Season 4: Who's Coming Back?

by at . Comments

Just hours after a pulsating, corpse-filled Walking Dead Season 3 finale, we have major news on Season 4 of this AMC smash:

David Morrissey will return as The Governor.

The Governor on The Walking Dead

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the British actor, originally announced as appearing on just this past season, will be promoted to series regular when The Walking Dead returns in October.

Last night, his storyline was left open after he gunned down a majority of his army and left with a pair of soldiers.

In the graphic novel, however, the Governor does not survive his climactic showdown with Rick at the prison.

ENOUGH !!! with the Governor. How long is TWD going to beat that horse that should have died 10 times by now, He absolutely should have died in the season finale,...violently and painfully. It is getting beyond reason and to the point of ridiculousness already with the Governors seeming invincibility, ...zombies can't kill him, trained police can't kill him, badass rednecks can't kill him, give me a break, let's move on with the story already there are so many other things and places to explore with the series, the governor arc was already OVERPLAYED out by the end of season 3.

I don't like David Morrisey as the governor. The storyline felt too plastic with him. I'm afraid they wil merge and mold him into the 'Negan' storyline from the comic books. He'll be Negan, since the Negan storyline is nothing more than an updated governor version. Damn i miss Andrea.

Why is this appearing on the castle tv fanatic page?

Who cares about negative pinheads? Do you write for a show that attracts 12 million viewers? Didn't think so. So...why exactly do you think your opinion matters?

THAT GUY NEEDS TO GO. IN SEASON 4 HE BETTER DIE IN THE HANDS OF RICK VICIOUSLY AND HARD!

I have enjoyed the show since the start and have not minded most of the changes from the comic. But keeping the governor for another season is stupid. I've enjoyed the Woodbury storyline but was glad it was ending with the finale last night. They draw things out too long on the show sometimes and this is going to be one of them. It's time to move on and the Governor should be dead. I'll keep watching but if this turns into the governor stalking Rick & company hour next season, I'll probably quit watching.
