Melissa Leo has signed on for her first network television role.
The Oscar winner will star opposite Matt Dillon on Wayward Pines, the M. Night Shyamalan-produced limited series that will on Fox in 2014.
Based on a novel by Black Crouch, the drama will center on Dillon's Secret Service agent and his search for two missing officers in Idaho.
Leo is now on board as a nurse who cares for Dillon's character when he wakes up in a hospital - but who, as you might expect, possesses a much larger agenda.
The veteran actress won an Oscar in 2011 for The Fighter and was nominated for an Emmy later that year for her role in HBO's Mildred Pierce. She has also appeared on Treme and Louie.
