Naya Rivera has spilled the Demi Lovato-based beans.

As previously reported, the singer/actress is very close to finalizing a deal with Glee to come on board at least six episodes of Season 5.

And at the Video Music Awards Sunday night, Rivera revealed to MTV: Lovato's struggling artist of a character will actually be a love interest for Santana!

"I’m very, very excited about that," Rivera said, adding that she will sing at song one track with Lovato and joking that "we're bringing her to the dark side."

Santana, meanwhile, isn't the only Gleek who will be dabbling in some romance this fall.

Phoebe Strole has also been cast on the series as a college sophomore who sets her eyes on Sam. And, really, can you blame her?

Glee Season 5 kicks off on Thursday, September 26.
