Jeremy Jordan is going from singing to sleuthing.

The Broadway star, who helped anchor Smash Season 2, will guest star in an October episode of Elementary Season 2.

According to TV Line, Jordan will stop by as Joey Castoro, the son of a patient who died in surgery under the care of Joan Watson.

“We’re going to… explore Joan’s feelings of guilt,” executive producer Rob Doherty told TV Line a short while ago. “At what point do you tap your guilt and give yourself permission to live a life?”

Jordan's character will tap into this theme when he goes to Watson with an unusual request.

Earlier this summer, it was announced that Rhys Ifans will also come on board the CBS hit in the key, recurring role of Mycroft, Sherlock's brother.
