We have our first renewal of the fall season.
Following three highly-rated, critically-acclaimed opening episodes, Sleepy Hollow has been picked up for a second season by Fox.
The drama - which chronicles the adventures of a modern day Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and his police officer partner (Nicole Beharie) - opened to 10.1 million viewers on September 16, making it the network's most-watched premiere in seven years.
With 10 episodes remaining in an exciting, bat $hit crazy first season, Fox has given the green light to 13 more in 2014.
“The show has proven to be a risk well worth taking – it’s a conceptual blast unlike anything else on television and it all holds together with inventive writing and a fantastic cast,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “I can’t wait for fans to experience what else is in store for this fall and even more of this wild ride into Season Two.”
