Fox Announces Schedule Changes: Glee To Tuesdays, Mindy/Dads On Break

Fox has announced some adjustments to its schedule starting in the new year, including giving a few sitcoms a breather and moving Glee from Thursdays to Tuesdays.

The much-anticipated season two of The Following returns with a two-night premiere event starting on January 19th before settling into its regular Monday at 9pm timeslot on January 20th (after the Sleepy Hollow first season finale at 8pm).

The Greg Kinnear legal drama, Rake, kicks off on Thursday, January 23rd in the 9pm timeslot following American Idol.

Tuesday night will start to look different after The Mindy Project has its winter finale on January 28th. The following week (February 4th), Brooklyn Nine-Nine will move to the 9:30pm timeslot following New Girl. Dads will continue to air at 8pm on Tuesdays until February 11th when it takes a break. 

Finally, starting February 25th, Glee moves to Tuesdays and will start the night off at 8pm followed by New Girl and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. 

The network also announced that The Mindy Project will return April 1st at 9pm with a special one-hour event featuring all-new back-to-back episodes. The following week, the Mindy Kaling series will move back to its 930pm timeslot.
