Forget the deal between Cary and Alicia that has thrown The Good Wife Season 5 for an awesome loop.
Columbia Records and CBS have signed an even more unexpected contract.
The record label and the network will work together to help promote Bruce Springsteen's 18th studio album, "High Hopes," prior to its January 14 release.
Aside from streaming the album exclusively on its official website between 10 p.m. EST Sunday, January 12 through 7 p.m. EST Monday, January 13, the January 12 installment of this smash drama will feature snippets of three new songs by The Boss.
They will be "High Hopes," "Hunter of Invisible Game" and "The Ghost of Tom Joad."
"Of course we were incredibly excited by the potential; we're huge Springsteen fans," co-creator Michelle King said in a statement of the unique opportunity.
