Changes are afoot on The Real Housewives of New York City.

One change in particular: LuAnn de Lesseps has been downgraded to recurring player on the Bravo series and will miss the first three episodes of Season 6, which kicks off on March 11.

Kristen Taekman, a 36-year old mother of one who owns a greeting card box business, will essentially take LuAnn's place.
