Alec Baldwin to Guest Star on Law & Order: SVU

by at . Comments

Alec Baldwin is on his way back to NBC, and also to New York City.

The former 30 Rock mainstay will appear on an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU, according to E! Online, coming on board the long-time drama in an installment directed by Mariska Hargitay.

No other details are available at this time.

Jack's Unhappy

Baldwin will stop by some time this March, marking his first role on television since leaving Jack Donaghy's upper floor office.

The actor had been set to host his own political show on MSNBC, until he blew up at a photographer late last year and use a homophobic epithet in his attack.

That wasn't funny. But watch 30 Rock online now to remember just how hilarious Baldwin can be.

I stopped watching L&O SVU last year after they cast convicted rapist Mike Tyson as a guest star. The casting of Alec Baldwin affirms I made the right decision, and, while on the subject, thank you (CNN's) Anderson Cooper for speaking out about Alec Baldwin.
