Elisha Cuthbert is on her way back to television.
The beloved Happy Endings actress has been cast as the female lead in One Big Happy, an Ellen DeGeneres-produced sitcom about a lesbian, her long-time male friend and their plans to - you guessed it! - have a baby together.
Nick Zano has signed on for the multi-camera comedy as Luke, the BFF of Cuthbert's Lizzie, who marries the love of his life just as these friends succeed via artificial insemination.
Talk about awkward!
DeGeneres is will executive producer the pilot with production partner Jeff Kleeman, while director Scott Ellis and writer Liz Feldman (2 Broke Girls) are also on board.
