Ryan Phillippe to Be Murder Suspect on ABC

Ryan Phillippe is headed to ABC.

The veteran actor has been cast as the lead in Secrets & Lies, an upcoming drama about a family man who ends up as the prime suspect in a boy's murder.

The series has been given a 10-episode orders and will find Phillippe's character going to extreme lengths in order to prove his innocence.

It will be written by Barbie Kligman (Private Practice) and produced by Charles McDougall (Desperate Housewives) and production will get underway later this year.
