TV Ratings Report: Happy Returns for Grey's Anatomy, Scandal

ABC fans celebrated the long-awaited returns of Grey's Anatomy and Scandal last night by turning out in droves, garnering ratings for each series well above their season averages.

Both drew 9.3 million viewers.

Elsewhere, CBS enjoyed a strong overall evening, while Community and American Idol dropped and The Vampire Diaries fell to under 2 million total viewers...
