Tick... tick... tick...

A new extended promo for 24: Live Another Day depicts the most footage we've seen yet from this wildly anticipated event series, as we’re told “Every Second Counts” for Jack Bauer in his attempt to stop a Presidential assassination from taking place on foreign soil.

Can he save the world and clear his name? Those are mighty tall orders.

But this is Jack Bauer we're talking about.

24: Live Another Day kicks off on May 12.
