Anna Camp Cast as Lead in ABC Comedy Pilot

For our collective amusement, Anna Camp is prepared to be Damaged Goods on ABC.

The beloved actress (True Blood, The Mindy Project, Pitch Perfect) has been cast as the lead in this single camera comedy pilot, which will be written by Awkward's Lauren Iungerich.

It will center around Camp as Nicole, an attorney who receives a promotion ahead of her boyfriend (played by Justin Hartley)… and then promptly gets dumped by this bitter fellow lawyer.

Steve Talley (The Crazy Ones), Kellee Stewart (My Boys) and Ben Lawson (Neighbours) are also on board the series, which will explore sexual politics in a post-feminism era… in a hopefully funny way of course.

This one sounds promising.
