14 Agonizing Deaths on Game of Thrones: Who's Next?

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Let the slaughtering begin!

On Game of Thrones Season 4, that is.

If past history is indication of future events, we're in for even more shocking and sorrowful deaths when the fabulous series returns to HBO this Sunday.

It doesn't matter what family a character belongs to or what their rank may be, author George R.R. Martin made it clear from the very beginning that all bets were off when he killed the king and then his right-hand man, Ned Stark, back on Season 1.

That brutal, shocking death was merely the beginning, of course.

Since then, no character (human or animal) has been safe from stabbings, arrows and many other forms of violent murder.

In anticipation of Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 1, we remember those we've lost in the following gallery, exclaiming joy for those who deserved it and sorrow for those who did not.

Which of these deaths do you consider most memorable?

King Joffrey
Long live the King? Joffrey was felled at his own wedding by a glass of poisoned wine.

And who's going to bite it during Game of Thrones Season 4?

Totally a possible death of Joffrey could help to the mod of stark fans (im reader of the books ^^ )
Perhaps im the only person that miss "lady" the sansa companion, ( i dont like sansa, i still dont understand why the producers of the tv series want to like her after what see did on the books, they dont put it openly) but soon a new lady is coming
As in a Taringa! comment someone says "cuando llegue ese momento a muchos se les van a caer los huevos"

Oh man, how many tv fans read the books? Im curious, because of the poll results, are they guessing?
It doesnt matter now, next year the readers will read the outcome of the biggest cliffhanger of the series, bigger than red wedding and ned, and the crossbow

@ annihilator

do you read the books. Anyway I do and in my opinion the biggest death of season 4 isn't spoiled by the results of the poll. Unless that scene occurs in season 5 but I doubt it.

I think people are guessing based on spoilers and who they want to die the most. Whether it's the most shocking possible death in a series known for killing multiple main characters is a big fat no. Any of the others would be more interesting. Joffrey dying would be more of a relief. ;-)

Game of Thrones Quotes

Nothing isn't better or worse than anything. Nothing is just nothing.

Arya

I will hurt you for this. A day will come when you think you are safe and happy, and your joy will turn to ashes in your mouth. And you will know the debt is paid.
