True Detective Season 2 to Include Trio of Leads, California Setting

Nic Pizzolatto has shed some unexpected light on True Detective Season 2.
Speaking to the public radio program "To The Best of Our Knowledge," the writer/showrunner said the series will feature “three leads” for its second run and it will also take place in California.
"Not Los Angeles, but some of the much lesser known venues of California, Pizzolatto said. "And we're going to try to capture a certain psychosphere ambiance of the place, much like we did in [True Detective Season 1]."
Talk of Jessica Chastain joining the drama were quickly shot down, but Pizzolatto did say casting will begin in earnest in a couple months.
"The characters are all new, but I'm deeply in love with each of them," he says. "We've got the entire series broken out with a couple of scripts."
But more than a couple of top stars.
Guess we'll need to amend the following gallery of suggestions, huh?
