Erin Karpluk is headed to ABC.

The Being Erica alum has landed a recurring role on Rookie Blue Season 5, according to TV Line, although details are being kept under wraps.

“[Being Erica] was a great show, created by one of my dear friends [Jana Sinyor],” Rookie Blue executive producer Tassie Cameron tells TV Line. “I’ve always been looking for a chance to get [Karpluk] on our show, and we finally did. So that’s very exciting."

Other former Being Erica stars to appear on this ABC summer hit include Adam MacDonald (Detective Steve Peck) and Devon Bostick and Joanna Douglas, who both appeared back on Season 1.

The new season, meanwhile, will be comprised of 22 episodes, with Karpluk coming on board at the halfway point.

Rookie Blue Season 5 Episode 1 airs this Thursday at 9/8c on ABC.
