Patton Oswalt helped Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. make a major announce at its San Diego Comic-Con panel yesterday:
Barbara Morse is coming!
The character known as Mockingbird is a SHIELD field agent who used the costumed identity of the Huntress and also Mockingbird (as seen above image). The role is yet to be cast.
Moreover, Dollhouse alum Reed Diamond will guest star on the ABC series as Daniel Whitehall, “one of our Hydra baddies early on [Season 2],” executive producer Jed Whedon teased.
The SHIELD team has also confirmed the following castings:
- Lucy Lawless is joining the drama as Isabelle Hartley.
- Nick Blood will portray a mercenary named Lance Hunter who helps with the SHIELD team.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on Tuesday, September 23.
