Deborah Ann Woll Cast as Female Lead in Daredevil

Deborah Ann Woll has found her next gig.
The True Blood star has banned female lead in Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil series, coming on board the Netflix project as Karen Page.
In Daredevil comic mythology, Page is the longest-running love interest of the title character’s alter ego Matt Murdock; she was introduced in the very first issue.
Karen had a tiny role in Daredevil film, but this is the first time she’ll be actively portrayed on screen.
Daredevil will star Charlie Cox as Murdock/Daredevil, while also featuring with Elden Henson as Murdock’s best friend and legal partner; Vincent D’Onofrio as crime lord Kingpin; and Rosario Dawson in a mysterious role.
It is expected to launch some time in 2015.
