Hit the Floor just nailed a three-pointer.

The cheerleader-based drama has been renewed by VH1 for a third season, with the network making the announcement today amidst its run as the number-one ad-supported scripted drama on cable among women 18-49.

"Hit The Floor delivered again with fantastic ratings and social media engagement in season two, especially among women,” said Susan Levison, EVP of Original Programming & Production for VH1. "We look forward to seeing what kind of trouble the Devil Girls will get into next season."

Hit the Floor Season 2 will wrap up on Monday, August 11t at 9PM ET/PT with a finale in which the basketball team makes its final push for the title and Olivia's murderer is revealed.

Season 3 will then consist of 10 episodes and air on 2015.
