The Flash Scoop: Villains, Love Triangles & Comic-Con Debuts

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The Flash is coming.

Yes, I know you've been hearing that ever since the series was announced earlier this year, but if the Comic Con weekend was any indication, there is a huge amount of buzz for this Arrow spinoff.

And, having seen the pilot, we can say it's well-deserved. (And if you missed out chat with star Grant Gustin last week, check it out now.)

But what did the cast members and the producers have to say about specifics of the new series, which is set to premiere this October on The CW? Let's find out in the following video interviews from The Flash press room...

Grant Gustin talks his feelings for Iris and how Barry will adjust to life as The Flash

How will Iris deal with Barry's feelings while her heart may be with someone else? Candice Patton talked to us about it!

Danielle Panabaker's Caitlin lost a fiance in the big explosion...or did she?

Jesse L Martin has played cops before but how is Detective West different?

Tom Cavanaugh told us at upfronts he'd soon deliver on all things Harrison Wells. Did he keep his word?

John Wesley Shipp talked the full-circle-ness of playing Barry's father and Grant surprising him during shooting.

Executive Producer Greg Berlanti previewed how villains will be brought into the show.

Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg laid out what we'll see in the first season of The Flash.

The Flash Season 1 premieres October 7 on The CW.

The Flash Quotes

One mystery I cannot figure out is why some people come into our lives and why some people go. Others become a part of you. Some friendships feel like they'll last forever and others end far too soon. Not every friendship is meant to last forever. What does last forever is the pain when that person is gone.

Barry

It doesn't matter if you're the slowest kid in gym class or the fastest man alive, every one of us is running. Being alive means running. Running from something, running to something or someone. And no matter how fast you are, there are some things you can't outrun. Some things always catch up with you.
